Will this work for brewing loose leaf tea?

1. Put the tea into my coffee pitcher


2. Turn on my coffee pot and let the pitcher fill with hot water


3. Let it steep


4. Pour the tea through a coffee filter into a cup to drink





Will the water get hot enough or does it need to be hotter?

that should work-you may want to try putting the tea in the filter in the filter basket of the coffee pot. pouring water through a filter would be a slow process. good luck!Will this work for brewing loose leaf tea?
The water should be hot enough. Why don't you put the the tea in filter, where the coffee would go? Then you won't have to mess with pouring hot water through a filter.
