nope. you will not lose any pounds whatsoever. maybe 1 or 2 but not anymore than that. you have to eat something. you need the protein that your body is craving for.
Just wait until you start eating again and your body which is in starvation mode then stores everything. Eat 4-5 small meals a day more effective for weight loss.
p.s how old are you? If you are in your teens your body requires a little extra to continue growing.
you can do it but your only going to gain back more once you do start to eat again...I had to do this (not by choice, but by being homeless in Las Vegas) I weighed less when I finally got some money for food but I gained more weight than before I became homeless with no money...So in the end it means your only going to hate your body more if you don't do this a healthy way
You need counseling, not a diet. And no, it won't work.
It will not work. Firstly losing 13 pounds a week would be unhealthy in any circumstances. The body can't deal with such a rapid loss of weight. As well, if you stop eating for two weeks your body will not only eat away at your fat but at your muscle tissue. Not eating for two weeks is a serious condition and you would need hospitalization. I recommend if you want to lose weight try to eating a few smaller meals a day the larger should be in the morning because you will use the carbs through out the day. If you were to only eat one meal a day, if you chose that compromise you would gain weight because your body would store more fat because it would think it was dying or being starved.

Yes, not eating is very unhealthy... you just need to change what you eat... eat more friuts and veggies, very little meat, but some meat for your protien. With your weight and height (and a little chubbiness) I can't see why you hate your body. Anyway, you need to exercise until you get a good sweat going, burn off calories, but two weeks is such a short time, please be careful, anything too fast isn't good at all.
Not eating will not help. Since your body thinks that no food is coming in, it will hang on to whatever fat is already stored. You must eat healthy items, reduce your calories and work out.
You might lose the weight fast but once you start eating again you will gain it all back and maybe more. It is very unhealthy to stop eating and it will only make your problems worse. Try Eating healthy and exercising instead. Your goal should be to lose 1-3 pounds per week. If you lose the weight the right way it will be easier to keep it off. GOOD LUCK!

In order for the heart to contract, like any muscle, it gets stimulated by an electrical conduction system that runs a tiny electrical current just like a wire.
In the arms and legs, this electrical signal is supplied by nerves that come from the brain. In the heart, however, there is a conduction system made out of specialized cells that are part of the heart.
The flow of electrical signal is detectable by electrocardiogram (ECG). If you examine that word, you'll see that it means ';electrical picture of the heart.'; In the simplest system, electrical leads are placed at the shoulders and low on the body, on the left side. As the waves of electrical impulse pass through the heart muscle, a tiny electrical current is created between the wires, and this is amplified and graphed on paper. The up and down tracings of the current is what we read.
The most important thing about ECG reading is to understand that dead or injured heart muscle fails to conduct electricity readily like the living and normally functioning conduction system.
Because of the 3 dimensional arrangement of the leads around the heart, we can learn about the conduction of electricity in various directions, all at the same time. We can actually detect when there is a change in conduction in a specific direction.
When we look at the tracings on paper, we see several defined portions of the wave pattern and you've mentioned the ';P wave';. Following the P wave, there's a ';QRS complex'; and then a ';T wave';. The P wave is a small hump in the graph. The QRS complex is a big spike that follows the P, and then after the QRS, there's a moderate sized hump that is the T wave.
The P wave represents the electrical activity which causes the initiating portion of the heart contraction. After the P wave the ';atria'; (singular: ';atrium';), which are small chambers on the upper portion of the heart, do their contractions. The QRS complex represents the electrical activity that initiates the main contraction of the heart. After the QRS complex, the ';ventricles'; contract, pumping the blood out to the lungs and to the body. The T wave represents the electrical activity of the heart resetting itself for the next beat.
Specific known heart problems are associated with characteristic abnormalities on ECG. Much of the reading of ECG's, therefore, is based on recognizing known patterns of change to the normal waves. When there has been, or there is currently a heart attack in progress, the portion of the heart muscle involved can be 3 dimensionally localized by way of the pattern.
The ';reading'; of ECG's requires a lot of practice and a lot of experience. Fortunately for us doctors who don't do a lot of it, there are specific things to look for that help tell the difference between emergency situations and non-emergency.
Additionally, the computer that prints out the result actually has some basic ECG reading capability itself! There are some diagnoses that print out right on top of the page!!

the P wave is the ECG picking up the contraction/electrial pulse of the atria,
the QRT waves are basically the ventricals contracting/electrical pulse
and the S wave shows the ventricals relaxing, hyperpolarising.
The reason why you cant see the atria hyperpolarising is because the ventricals are contacting at the same time (approximately!!)
The QRT wave consists of 3 waves due to the way the electrical impulse travels around the ventricals... first down the middle (Q) then the right side (R) and then the left side (T)... this is just the way the ECG picks it up...
The reason why the S wave is in the same direction as the as the P waves even though one is depolarisation and the other is hyperpolerisation is due to the action potential properties of the particular cardiac cells... its a hard point to understand but basically its due to different refactory periods (of action potentials) of the cardiac cells...

i know you get points for answering and lose points for asking...how do you move up a level? why does yahoo not make their points system more clear? if you have more points...do you win the prize? i dont get it. plus, why should you lose points for asking a question?Can someone tell me how this points thing works?
The points are mostly just an incentive for people to start answering questions, and also to vote on other answers, and finally, to rate other people's answers. As you increase your points and levels you are able to perform more of the standard activity - ask, answer, rate, vote and comment.
Other than that, the points don't do anything. You do get some extra 'attention' at higher levels, but that may or may not be a good thing. There are no secret special prizes, at least none that any of us at Level 7 have heard of.
Mostly, just enjoy the site, ask and answer questions. If you like, keep track of your points as you move up in levels. After awhile, you'll be more interested in responding to people's questions with quality answers.

Firstly do not confuse the mortgage deposit with the purchase deposit - they are different things.
When you buy a property the seller usually expects a deposit, often 10%, on exchange of contracts. This confirms your serious intention, and will be forfeited if you then fail to complete.
When you take out a mortgage the lender will not lend 100% of the value of the property. They require you to pay some of the value out of your own pocket. Depending on the lender and the deal this ';deposit'; may be anything up to 25% or more.

I think this might be too much for a three year old if I am understanding you correctly. I think jumping her at this age is dangerous. She could hurt something or set her up for long term problems. But turning her out for a year. Thats not a requirement for a young horse to grow up. Some people don't have that option. It doesnt hurt a horse to be turned out, but a horse will still mature. I wouldn't say she can't ride this horse just because it hasn't been turned out for a year. Wierd? What big wig trainer is teaching these kids this these days? From carrot sticks, games and now you must turn your horse out for a year before you ride it? Does this rule go towards mustangs that have been wild for years? If I adopt one, do I have to turn it out in a pasture for a year? If I buy a colt or filly that has been at a stable and never been riden do I have to turn it out for a year before I can ride it even if it is 5?

It totally depends on the breed, I have AQHA 3yr olds that are ridden and trained on a schedule, I dont feel that young horses should be ridden everyday while training, mine horses schedules are developed per each horse and their individual capabilities. I disagree that she should be jumping, but then again I dont have anything to do with jumping. I dont think you have to turn a horse out for a year to mature, Im not sure where you got that idea. You should always keep your horses health in mind when working or training and hopefully she is wrapping and or using protective boots with suspensory lig support when riding or doing ground work.
Jumping at 3 is too young and bad for their joints, but riding everyday for many 3 year olds is a good thing. They just shouldn't be ridden for a long amount of time. I always keep the work down to about 20 minutes with a horse of that age. Horses do not need to be turned out to mature for a year. Most people who do that are the ones that back the horse at age 2 and then bring them in to work at 3. It sounds like the horse is being worked too hard, but it all depends on what and how much she jumps and how long the horse is being ridden.
I have trained horses for years and I have never put a person on a horses back untill it was 4 yrs old. I know that Race horses are backed @ 2 and most end up having to retire early from all forms of riding or develop structural probs that limit them.
My horses begin lunging at 3yrs and are backed at 4 when there muscle and bone structure is well-developed from lunge work and age. The last thing a horse shoulld be doing at 3 yrs is jumping!! Cantering and flatwork that improve flexibility, strength, etc are fine if rested at least 1-2 days a week.
I agree with you, that even a solid-built filly shouldn't be doing hard work of cantering and jumping almost every day. It is a shame, because her filly may have knee, joint, and other hip/back problems in the future. I think they should be broken to ride at three, but not do hard work (such as racing, jumping, sliding, and barrels) until they are four or five.
I have just backed my 3 year old welsh cob last week and he is doing really well but I would never push such a young horse on so much it will either damage him physically or make him really sour. I intend to do some light hacking this summer then turn him away till next year when I will start to think about flatwork and jumping when I feel he is mature enough.

Does anybody know about this 60 day notice they give you when a plant closes works?
My plant is shutting down and some of it is moving to another plant. I was first told. I would be given a 60 day notice when they no longer needed me. They then offered me a lower paying job and was told if I didn't take it. I volunteered for lay off and I would be terminated at their earliest convience. I was able to get a date from them which was one week. For some reason, this sounds illigal. What are your thoughts on this?Does anybody know about this 60 day notice they give you when a plant closes works?

Make it in 3rd person instead - You can switch point of views very easily in 3rd person.
In 1st person, you CAN switch people, but they have to be, like, completely different chapters. Like:
Chapter 1: Allie
Chapter 4: Jason
And whoever is the chapter person, is the one whose point of view it's from. Of course, if you're only going to depart ONCE from the main character, then that's an awkward way to do it.

It takes some time to see a difference and your hair will never grow an inch a week but the supplements and the shampoo do help. I also ate a lot of protein. My hairdresser was taken aback when she saw how much my hair had grown after about 3 months. My nails were really long too and I'd never managed that before. Go to Sally's and look at the products there. HF37 isn't that different, it's just about getting the right vitamins into your system. Other products work just as well if not better. That is very very unhealthy. YOu need a minimum of 1200 or more calories every day in order to lose weight healthy. If you keep doing what you are doing you will end up sick and in the hospital. Do not let your calorie intake go below 1200 calories, or your body will go into starvation mode and you will not burn calories. You have to give your body food for energy to burn calories.

That is very very unhealthy. YOu need a minimum of 1200 or more calories every day in order to lose weight healthy. If you keep doing what you are doing you will end up sick and in the hospital. Also the next time your aunt makes a rude comment remind her that that was not called for and that she should be more considerate as it takes all kinds of people to make up this world.
try salads with tuna or chicken is good for you

I think it's important you go ahead, otherwise you not only risk spraying, but also him wandering away and getting into fights, or even becoming aggressive towards his little friend.

So about 2 days ago I had intercourse and the next morning around 10, I bought plan B. But the thing is, I swallowed one pill, my body isn't immune to pills so therefore they're sometimes thrown back up afterwards.
