I am confused on how this web site works. What are points for and what can you get with them?

Well, this is the place for you to either answer questions or ask questions. Every answer that you give, you earn 2 points. Every question that you ask, you are less 5 points. If your answer is voted as Best Answer, you get an additional 10 points. The more points you earn the higher your level is. Your benefits corresponds with the Level that you are in.

1)They're something like a score.





2)More points means that you have acquired much knowledge from answering than asking.





3)Point system is fun as it leads to competition to answer more and more questions.





4)By point system one can have a fare idea of what level we are.





5)If anyone selects your answer as the BEST then you get 10 points.This means that you have cleared their doubt in their question by answering in a comfortable way.(By applying your mind and learning)





6)Also more points means that you have a wide knowledge and capable of answering many things.





7)So point system is a way to learn,think,answer,and compete...





8)But points are basically useless..You can save it to ask more questions or gain points by answering!!

You don't do anything with the points. I don't know why there are points involved, it is weird.
