How would I work this problem?

The measure of The Supplement of an angle is 4 times the measure of its compliment. Find the measure of the angle. How would I work this problem?
Well, the compliment is whatever you add to the angle to make it equal ninety degrees. The supplement is whatever you add to make it equal 180 degrees. So, let the angle be x. compliment=C and supplement=S

X+C=90

X+S=180

S=4C

using substitution, X+4C=180

and X+C+90=180

so X+C+90=X+4C

C+90=4C

90=3C

C=30

then X+30=90

so x=60

The angle equals 60 degrees How would I work this problem?
Let: A = the angle

180 - A = the angle's supplement

90 - A = the angle's complement

Equation:

180 - A = 4(90 - A)

Solution:

180 - A = 4*90 - 4A

4A - A = 360 - 180

3A = 180

A = 180/3

A = 60

Check:

180 - A = 4(90 - A)

180 - 60 = 4(90 - 60)

120 = 4(30)

120 = 120 Yes!

Decision:

Therefore, the angle measures 60 degrees.
