What numerical scales describes acidity? How does this scale work?

The scale I know that describes acidity is the pH scale.


The numbers are from 1-14, with 1 being the most acidic, 14 being the most basic, and 7 being neutral.What numerical scales describes acidity? How does this scale work?

1-10 with 10 being more alkaline and 1 being more acidic and i hope I didn't get it backwards was a long time ago!
its called the PH scale, from 1-14





i think 1-6 is Basic and 8-14 is acidic ( might be the other way around)


and 7 is normal like Water H2O
