Has anyone been on the receiving end of any russian scams how does this work?

Been communicating with the russian babe, we have corresponded now for about four months, she has not asked me for anything, but she said she will like to visit me and she is going for the visa, is the scam about to happen from this point let me know!!!Has anyone been on the receiving end of any russian scams how does this work?
There are plenty of legitimate, honest people who have a desire to meet Americans. In fact, many of these Russian people are afraid that the American is the one with the scam!

It's good to be cautious, but you shouldn't assume that everyone is bad.

With that said, my suggestion to you is to be smart. Don't send money, or make any commitments to anything you're not comfortable with. The most important thing about scams is that the person who gets scammed always agrees to give something in exchange for something else. If you never make any exchange or agreement, you can't be scammed. It's simple!

On a different note...

When you refer to her as ';the russian babe';, you're kinda making it known already that YOU are trying to scam HER. You're referring to her like some piece of meat. You should consider that most Russian women you'll ever meet have an education far superior to that of any American, and they're also in better health, and have a lot more to offer the world... and the only strike against them is that they were born in a country that doesn't have the opportunity that America offers. If you are respectful of this, she could end up being the girl of your dreams. But if you treat her like ';the russian babe';, she'll see through it, and eventually outsmart you and take you to the cleaners. ;-)Has anyone been on the receiving end of any russian scams how does this work?
Could be a scam, possibly someone just talking with no possibility of actually coming to visit you. Could be legit.

Anyway, don't send any money or enter into any legal commitments such as endorsing her visa/ immigration etc., then you won't get scammed.
You are entering a danger zone. Beware!
